Meet Natalie

A couple years ago, I was single, living in the heart of the Napa Valley enjoying fine wine and culinary delights when I stumbled across a cute guy at a bar who was pretty jacked. We got to talking about all things fitness which happened to be a secret passion of mine. I learned that this guy Steve doesn't diet and exercise, he "fuels and trains for his goals". That comment for some reason stuck with me and I decided to give his training approach a try as well as the guy, but that is a story for another day.

When I started, I was running, biking, swimming and mostly taking cardio classes. Contrary to all my previous education and training, I hadn't been lifting weights or following a meal plan. After about 8 weeks of pumping iron and eating for my goals, I caught the bug. My results were so startling that I immediately became addicted to this new style of training.

Outside of feeling great, I was starting to take on a new sexier shape. Steve then invited me to Summit in 2016 where I watched him compete and take home a 2nd place trophy at the Beachbody Classic. I was even more inspired by what he was able to accomplish in such a short window of time that I became curious about my potential as well.

  When Steve started his journey to better his health he was a pre-diabetic and 20 pounds overweight. At 38 years old, he decided to turn it all around. Day after day, month after month over the course of a year he improved his physical condition and on a whim decided to sign-up for the Beachbody Classic.

After I returned home, I wanted to see if I could achieve the same results in my own life so I grinded for a 1 year. It was a roller coaster ride. There were ups and there were downs much of which I shared on Instagram and Facebook as I also learned to live my life out loud. 

My transformation was so slow that often times people (myself included) didn't see the changes occurring. I had so many doubts, but I trusted the process. Every day I just strived to be better than before. The #1 rule I made for myself was that I could not give up for one full year. Overtime, I ended up losing 25 pounds. I got stronger physically and even more so mentally. I learned so many small life lessons along the way that journey was more rewarding than the shiny medal I received after placing top 10 (while Steve placed top 3!) which was an enormous feat.

Fast forward six months or so later, we are still having a blast and striving to achieve bigger goals for the coming year - Eager and ready share our knowledge and experience to help empower others reach their goals moving forward as team.
